Directions to 223 Browning Road, Norwich CT

From 395 South

1. Take EXIT 82 (Norwichtown)
2. At end of exit, travel across West Town Street, taking the road between the Mobil and Shell gas stations. This will be WAWECUS STREET.
3. Follow Wawecus Street, through STOP SIGN, past Wawecus Medical Center
4. At the "Y", take BROWNING ROAD - go STRAIGHT UP THE HILL. (Left also takes you up a hill called Rogers Road - don't go there. Right takes you onto RT 2 connector. Don't want that either ;)
5. Follow BROWNING ROAD to STOP SIGN
6. Go LEFT at the STOP SIGN
7. 223 is on your RIGHT about 4-5 houses from STOP SIGN

From 395 North

1. Take EXIT 82 (Norwichtown)
2. At end of exit, go LEFT onto West Town Street
3. Go to FIRST TRAFFFIC LIGHT at junction of Wawecus Street
4. At Wawecus Street, go LEFT up road that goes between the Mobil & Shell gas stations
5. Follow Wawecus Street, through STOP SIGN, past Wawecus Medical Center
6. At the "Y", take BROWNING ROAD - go STRAIGHT UP THE HILL. (Left also takes you up a hill called Rogers Road - don't go there. Right takes you onto RT 2 connector. Don't want that either ;)
7. Follow BROWNING ROAD to the next STOP SIGN
8. Go LEFT at the STOP SIGN
9. 223 is on your RIGHT about 4-5 houses from STOP SIGN

If You Wind Up on Rogers Road

1. If you go past the Norwich Landfill (dump), you are on Rogers Road
2. Just keep going straight.
3. When you get to the end of the road and have to either go right or left, go RIGHT
4. You will be on Wawecus Hill Road (it is NOT the same road as Wawecus Street)
5. Follow this road, it will shortly become Browning Road. Keep going until you see big white house with lavendar doors (223 Browning Road) on your LEFT.

From Colchester/Hartford

Directions included for two possible ways from RT 2 to our house.

Backroads (shorter & more interesting)

1. Take RT 2 EAST to EXIT 23 (Bozrah)
2. At end of exit, go LEFT onto Bozrah Street Extension. (Camp Odetah & then Fields Memorial School will be on the RIGHT.)
3. Go about 0.5 miles to end of road, bear RIGHT onto FITCHVILLE ROAD. (Travel about 1.6 miles to STOP SIGN.)
4. At STOP SIGN, go RIGHT onto YANTIC LANE, go about 1 mile to STOP SIGN.
5. At STOP SIGN, go STRAIGHT. (Yantic Lane becomes BROWNING ROAD here)
6. 223 is on your RIGHT about 4-5 houses from STOP SIGN

The Highway Way (Exit is a bit confusing.)

1. Take RT 2 EAST to EXIT 27 (Toward YANTIC/WILLIMANTIC) and bear RIGHT toward STOP SIGN
2. At STOP SIGN, go RIGHT to Traffic light, then turn LEFT at the light.
3. Then, almost immediate, LEFT onto YANTIC LANE
4. Travel up YANTIC LANE about 1 mile.
5. At STOP SIGN, go STRAIGHT. (Yantic Lane becomes BROWNING ROAD here)
6. 223 is on your RIGHT about 4-5 houses from STOP SIGN
