National

National Museum of Women in the Arts: The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC, is the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to recognizing the contributions of women artists.

National Women's Caucus for Art: National organization unique in its multi-disciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students /educators, museum professionals and galleries in the visual arts.

ArtTable: National membership organization for professional women in leadership positions in the visual arts.

Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Brooklyn Museum. an exhibition and education facility dedicated to feminist art—its past, present, and future.

Fund for Women Artists: Non-profit arts service organization based in Western Massachusetts dedicated to increasing the diversity and employment of women in the arts. Focusing on artists whose work features non-traditional images of women and who are working in theatre, film, or video.

Her Arts: Founded to create a safe haven for serious but fun-loving, intelligent women artists with an appetite for the anomalous.

Three Arts Club: functions as a residence, gallery and performance space for women involved in the "three arts" - defined as Literary, Performance and Visual.

Through the Flower: Fostering understanding of feminist art by documenting, preserving, exhibiting and sharing the studio teaching methods of pioneer feminist artist Judy Chicago and the art archive of her work owned by Through the Flower. Founded by Chicago TTF stands for the values expressed in her art: cooperation, recognition, creativity, empathy and diversity.

Judy Chicago's The Dinner Party becomes the centerpiece of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Brooklyn Museum (March 23 2007). The Dinner Party "comprises a massive ceremonial banquet, arranged on a triangular table with a total of thirty-nine place settings, each commemorating an important woman from history. The settings consist of embroidered runners, gold chalices and utensils, and china-painted porcelain plates with raised central motifs that are based on vulvar and butterfly forms and rendered in styles appropriate to the individual women being honored. The names of another 999 women are inscribed in gold on the white tile floor below the triangular table. This permanent installation is enhanced by rotating biographical gallery shows relating to the 1,038 women honored at the table." -brooklynmuseum.org
