Eastern Venezuela: Tepuis and Harpy Eagles
The vast South American country of Venezuela holds an amazing avian diversity. While quite a few people have visited the circuit north of the Orinoco, it's the vast forested areas and unforgettable tepui landscape south of the Orinoco that hold the strangest and most alluring set of birds. Tour will focus on the Guianan forests of Rio Grande and the lush cloudforests of the Escalera with their numerous endemics. Also visited will be the northeastern region, where several endangered birds on the humid Paria Peninsula, the arid Araya Peninsula, and the area around Caripe might be found.

South America: The Introtour:
The Neotropics are widely regarded as being packed with thousands of confusing birds in difficult birding conditions - true - but the rewards of birding there are unsurpassed. See examples of most of the families and have the intricacies of Neotropical birding explained.

Southern Ecuador: From the Pacific to Podocarpus:
A tour of variety in habitat, scenery, and birds. Everything from the coastal region, to swamps, deserts, arid scrub, deciduous forests, rainforests, montain cloud forests, high altitude elfin forests, and paramo. Madagascar: The Eighth Continent:
Madagascar's flora and fauna are so different from anywhere else on Earth that it is often regarded as an eighth continent. Five families of birds are found only here, as are 120 endemic species concentrated in five Endemic Bird Areas. Madagascar is the epitome of the bizarre. Half of the world's chameleons live here, from the giant 2.2 ft (68 cm) Parson's Chameleon to the miniscule 1.3 in (3.4 cm) Pygmy Stump-tailed Chameleon. The lemurs are also a hit with visitors; their antics are hard to ignore, from the wailing hoot of Perinet's Indris, to the bipedal loping of Verreaux's Sifakas.
