With the new popularity of structured partner dancing, more opportunities exist for finding a spot or class or group that dances your kind of dancing. We've put together a list of website that will help you find your favorite - or entice you to experiment.

What do you get when you combine a love of music and dance with an eclectic background that includes a decade of college radio and a shady garage band past? Check out Rob's site and find out for yourself!

Jitterbug Jane promotes dance classes and workshops by various local and national instructors throughout the year in the Hartford, Connecticut area.

Hepcats, founded by Sarah Sloane, offers swing and other kinds of dance classes including Lindy Hop, Salsa, and Argentine Tango, in Providence and Narragansett, Rhode Island and Fairhaven, Massachusetts. The emphasis is on social or "street style" dancing, rather than competition style dancing. The atmosphere in the classes is friendly, casual and low pressure. No partner is necessary since we rotate partners (this is not a requirement if you prefer to stay with your spouse or partner). Ages 11 years and up are welcome and you can repeat the beginning 4 weeks for free!

Hepcats provides Rhode Island with low cost, non-smoking dances with the best in live music or recorded music featuring jump blues and big band swing. The dances are held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Mattapoisett, just over the border from Rhode Island.

Hartford Community Dance
Sponsors contra, Cajun/zydeco, swing, and waltz dances in the Hartford, CT area. HCD dances are smoke and alcohol free. Beginners are welcome. No partner is needed.

Hartford Swing Dance/Jam
Hartford Swing Dance hosts swing bands at the West Hartford Town Hall on the 1st Fridays of every month. Hartford Swing Jam offers a DJ dance at the Wethersfield American Legion Hall in Wethersfield on the last Saturday of the month.

Jitterbug Jane, aka Jane Dumont, promotes dance classes and workshops by various local and national instructors throughout the year in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Dances include East Coast Swing, Lindy, Charleston, Hustle, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Night Club Two Step, and Waltz. Jane is also a dance instructor, a licensed ASCAP/BMI swing DJ, and is available to host the music and/or lessons at your local dance, club and other swing functions.

Shoreline Swing Dance Society
Shoreline Swing Dance Society is an all-volunteer not-for-profit group of dancers dedicated to the promotion of swing dancing. They hold workshops and dances in the Mystic, East Lyme, and other areas.
