The Black Women In Sport Foundation: Dedicated to facilitating the involvement of Black women in every aspect of sport in the United States and around the world, through the hands-on development and management of grass roots level outreach programs. The Black Women In Sport Foundation is a Pennsylvania Non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

Women in Coaching: The Women in Coaching program is a national Canadian campaign to increase the number of coaching opportunities for women, at all levels of sport . . . and the development of resources to increase the awareness of women coaches at the international and professional levels to provide role models for aspiring coaches.

The Association for Women in Sports Media: AWSM is a worldwide organization of more than 600 women and men employed in sports writing, editing, broadcast and production, public relations and sports information. Women's Football

National Women's Football Association:
The NWFA was formed in August, 2000 by sports and entertainment entrepreneur, Catherine Masters. Masters who has more than 25 years experience in the top levels of these industries, decided it was time for women to have the chance to play full contact football in a well organized and professionally run league.

In the years that followed, the NWFA expanded to include over 40 teams from Maine to Florida and from Baltimore to the West Coast and everything in between. In addition to adding many new markets, the NWFA also negotiated a deal with well known Hollywood Producer and Director, Joel Raatz, to participate in the first ever, GENDER BOWL, The Gender Bowl was the first time men and women competed against one another on the football field.

In the spring of 2001, the D.C. Divas began its women's tackle football debut as a team in the National Women's Football Association (NWFA).
